Splitgate, which has experienced an actor boom this summer after two years of development, has been very enthusiastic about its producers. So much so that Splitgate maker 1047 Games is confident that the game can create a new League Of Legends effect. Last July, Splitgate’s beta collapsed from density– it had to double the capacity of 1047 Games servers.
Splitgate maker relies on potential of 1047 Games game
In an interview with TechCrunch, Ian Prolux, CEO of 1047 Games, claimed splitgates would be their own League Of Legends game.
“As a fairly small team with a limited budget, we didn’t plan much, but there are a lot of possibilities on the table right now,” prolux said. We may not be converted to Fortnite immediately tomorrow, but what we need to do now is set the goal of becoming a new Riot Games.”
Designed with the slogan “If portal meets Halo”, 1047 Games for Splitgate decided to keep the game in beta until further notice due to the intensity of this summer period. It’s unclear when the game will be officially released, but according to Ian Prolux, people will be catching this kind of FPS game called “old school” in the air.
