Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix sent a DMCA strike to Last Stand Media over Patreon. The reason for the DMCA warning in question is that one of the podcasts has announced the script prepared for the actor search of the new Tomb Raider game.
We shared the details of this scenario the other day. In the new Tomb Raider game, which has not yet been announced according to the scenario allegedly captured by Sacred Symbols, Lara Croft will lead a team of a group of tomb looters. Colin Moriarty, the host of this program, explained that Patreon contacted them and told them to remove the episode in question or they could be suspended from the platform.
Moriarty says the DMCA strike came from Square Enix. “They sent a DMCA to Patreon and asked for the removal of the part we were talking about about the new Tomb Raider game,” he says.
This scenario has already leaked all over the place, so it’s no longer something that can be resolved with a single DMCA strike. But on the other hand, Square Enix’s attempt to remove this publication confirms the reality of this scenario. So it’s really Lara Croft who’s going to lead a bunch of grave looters in the new game.
