Another game shown during The Game Awards 2021 was Forspoken itself. In a new trailer shared during the event, the Forspoken release date has been revealed. The production will be released for PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windows and will be released on May 24, 2022.

In an earlier statement, the Square Enix team said they aimed to deliver “the highest quality visuals ever seen in an open world game.” The production, which looks quite ambitious, will be released exclusively on the console side to the PlayStation 5.
Officially announced in June 2020 under the codename ‘Project Athia’, Forspokenwill be developed by Luminous Productions and will be published by Square Enix. Expected to be released on May 24, 2022, the production will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 for two years on the console side. Described as a story-driven adventure about a beautiful but brutal world, the production is about an ordinary young woman in a fantastical but dangerous country of Athia who must use her magical abilities to survive.
