Square Enix is packing a lot of games into it this year; Among the ones that have come out so far are the beloved, acclaimed games such as Triangle Strategy and Stranger of Paradise , and games such as Babylon’s Fall , which are immediately erased from memory.
Of course, there are also things that we expect to come out in the coming period. While Forspoken was seeing postponement after postponement among those who might stand out, the release date for The DioField Chronicle was announced with a trailer, which I was personally eagerly awaiting (but probably won’t be able to play :)):
Square Enix; He sees The DioField Chronicle as the start of a new strategy-RPG series. In the trailer, we see some examples of what is meant by “real-time tactical battles”. It seems that there is no grid system that we are used to in such games and that the battles flow in real time. On the battlefield, we give instructions to our team and try to make the most of their abilities.
The game is also available for pre-order; On Steam, the standard version is sold for 499 TL, and Deluxe Editon is sold for 600 TL. A demo will also be available from August 10; progress in the demo can be transferred to the game.
Whether it can meet Square Enix’s expectation and become a popular series is a little over 2 months away from seeing. The DioField Chronicle will debut on September 22 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch.
