Disney+’s upcoming Star Wars series are set to explore every corner of the universe. Mandalorian and Boba Fett and I are now saturated with the hot sands of Tatooine. Kenobi’s going to take us to a little different places. Andor, a side project for another series of Rogue One films, has a very different script than other productions. Disney had a long-term idea for the show in the first place. However, according to the latest reports, there has been a interruption in the Andor series.
Adriano Goldman, the show’s cinematographer, gave an insight into the progress of the Andor series in a recent statement. “The show I worked on would normally last five seasons. But I don’t think that’s going to happen. Maybe it’ll take three seasons.” Goldman has been thisting the news from the long-unaccounted rogue one side series. Normally we’re used to seeing short seasons on Disney+ shows. But the first season planned for Andor consists of 12 episodes.
The publication of these 12 episodes piece by piece rather than a weekly arrangement is also on the agenda. We can watch Andor in two or six episodes. It’s hard to predict whether it’ll be three seasons or five seasons yet, but Disney certainly has a long-term project in mind with Diego Luna in mind. The official release date of the series, which we expect to begin broadcasting later this year, has not yet been announced.
