The Star Wars The Old Republic add-on pack, which is normally due out next week (December 14), has been postponed. Legacy of the Sith, SWTOR’s new add-on pack, has been postponed until February 15, 2022. With the new Star Wars The Old Republic add-on pack, key characters will return to the game.
Star Wars The Old Republic add-on package delayed
Legacy of the Sith project director Keith Kanneg said the decision to postpone was the result of the recent return of players testing the game:
” Our team is working at a high tempo during the development of Legacy of the Sith, but as the game’s release time approaches, we have decided that we need some more time. In the process, we will focus on the parts we have changed and do extra tests to produce a game of the quality we want and the level that you deserve.”
Kanneg also said that feedback from players during the game’s time on Public Test Server played a critical role in shaping the package.
Legacy of the Sith, the eighth expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic, would have been combined with Star Wars: The Old Republic 10.cu year’s events if it had come out on its scheduled date.
