New updates for Stardew Valley, the simulation role-playing game developed by ConcernedApe, keep coming. The new update will focus on modes.
Developer Eric Barone has been told that the focus of the next update will be on mods, but there will also be something small for everyone.
Barone adds: “The new update will generally be modding-oriented. This update will make the work of mod makers easier. But that’s not all about the update. The new patch will also include some additional content. But those contents won’t be huge.”
The game’s final content update, called 1.5, was released in December 2020 and brought with it a multiplayer mode (split screen – local), a new island, an agricultural field, NPCs, puzzles, fishing tackle, and much more to players.
Stardew Valley is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PS Vita, iOS, Android, and PC via it. The game was first released for PC in 2016 and has sold over 20 million copies since 2016.
