In an interview with IGN, Executive Producer Todd Howard, who is part of developer and publisher Bethesda Game Studios, revealed that Starfield’s main story will take about 30 to 40 hours to complete.
Howard added: “Starfield is going to last a little bit longer than our previous games, and we can increase that time a little bit more. In the game, we will offer you a wide range and a lot of missions. The number of missions may be up to 20 percent more than in our previous games. As for how long the game will take, I would say about 30 to 40 hours.”
Howard also gave information about the modding of the game and stated that Starfield would be supported in the mode. On the subject of the mod, Howard added: “Players have been playing our games for a really long time. Skyrim is still being modified. It has been supported by the Skyrim mod community for 10 years.
We love the mod community. Starfield, which has a large structure, can also be made with a large number of mods and extra content can be offered to players.”
Starfield will debut for Xbox Series X|S and PC in the first half of 2023. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the first day.
