With the arrival of the summer months, game companies began to compete with their skills one by one. Maybe an E3 fair will not welcome us this year in June, but there are enough events to fill its place. As if the Summer Game Fest on June 9 and the Xbox Games Showcase on June 12 weren’t enough, Valve began to create excitement for the Steam Next Fest event . The most remarkable aspect of the event is that players will be offered the opportunity to try hundreds of games for free.
When, where and what games are available to play at Steam Next Fest?
Steam Next Fest will kick off at 8 p.m. Tsi on Monday, June 13 and will last for seven days. During the event, in Valve’s words, it is possible to play trial versions of “hundreds” and “great” games. To do this, players just need to have Steam clients installed on their computers and download trial versions of the event start.
The vast majority of games that are playable are productions that have not yet officially released or are about to be released, but are still being developed. Especially it is possible to come across independent developers. Although Valve hasn’t released a list of which games will be accessible, it did touch on some games in its new trailer:
- Daydream Forgotten Sorrow
- Ghost Song, Foretales
- Misc: A Tiny Tale
- Nine Sols
- Harmonys Odyssey
- Eyes in the Dark
- Glimmer in Mirror
- Fays Factory
- BROK the InvestiGator
- LEGO: Bricktales
- Above Snakes
- King of the Hat
- exophobia
- Gestalt Steam Cinder
- Cult of the Lamb
- Arksync
During the week-long Steam Next Fest, it is possible to earn Steam badges as well as follow a program full of developer interviews and sessions. When the event ends on June 20, free trials of the games will be removed from access.
