Steam, which set a record during the pandemic period, continues to rise after the pandemic. The digital gaming platform, which sets a new record every month, reached 28 million simultaneous users as of January 9th, renewing its new record to 28,230,661 units.
Daniel Ahmad, one of the industry’s leading analysts, stresses that the rise has continued continuously since 2020. The platform reached 27.9 million simultaneous users in the first days of January and broke its new record a few days later.
So what are all these players playing? According to official data, the most played game on January 9th was Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with 881,051 simultaneous players. Dota 2 followed with 748,720 players, while PUBG, which has risen once again recently, reached bronze.
