Steam is preparing to visually change its Downloads page very soon. In the latest software update, the foundations of the new page were laid, and even, as you know, Pavel Djundik, the founder of SteamDB, revealedthat Valve was working on a PC-based handheld console.
Pavel has also seen new download page items in the same codes, but says “I didn’t think it would be so easy to access this page.” You can really see this new Downloads page right now if you want. All you have to do is write down the steam://nav/library/download address in your browser. If the Steam program is open, you will see the new Downloads page directly, and if it is not, Steam will run and you will still access it. You may need to try several times to see the new page, I was able to switch to the new page when I tried it while the Downloads page was open, as you can see below:
The information shown is the same as the previous page, only visually altered. Pavel added that the Settings page will also be changed, but he has not yet been able to access his image. So Steam seems to have finally taken over other parts of the UI after the library’s visual update.
