We announced in March that Steam plans to make several changes to its interface. Perhaps the largest of these changes, the Downloads and Storage Manager pages, were made available to all users in the beta version of Steam. The new pages really look great visually and functionally.
We could already access the new downloads page by typing the steam://nav/library/download address in any internet browser, which was still slightly more overhauled.
In the upper right corner of the Downloads page there is the Settings icon, and when you select Downloads – Library Folders by pressing this icon, the new Storage Manager window opens. In this window, you can see all the games installed on your system and the place they occupy on the disc. This is a great feature for those like me who used utilities like WinDirStat to “which game took up so much space” before.
From this page, you can easily move games between your libraries. In the past, you should have right-clicked the name of the game on the library page to switch to Properties and move from there. Now it’s all in one window.
From this page, you can see not only how much space the Games take up, but also the DLC and other files.
