Publisher Curve Games and developer State of Play Games have announced they will release South of the Circle, a story-driven adventure game for PC on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and Steam and GOG. South of the Circle was first released for Apple Arcade on October 30, 2020.
Developed by BAFTA-winning State of Play, the game’s captivating aesthetics and nuanced writing style are reinforced with actors from such productions as “Bohemian Rhapsody” (Gwilym Lee), “The Woman in White” (Olivia Vinall), “The Crown” (Richard Goulding), “Game of Thrones” (Anton Lesser), “Chernobyl” (Adrian Rawlins) and “Downton Abbey” (Michael Fox).
South of the Circle is an emotional narrative experience that deals with the relationship between Cambridge academics Peter and Clara, who were caught up in the political conflict of the Cold War. Switching between career, true love and our desire to keep a promise, the story focuses on the weight of the choices that shape our lives.
