We’ve been waiting for season 4 of Stranger Things for almost three years. Season 3 of the series aired on July 4, 2019, and season 4 will air on May 27.
No one will probably like to get very important spoilers about the new season we have been waiting for all this time, but unfortunately this is the case. Serious spoilers for season 4 are currently circulating on the Internet, and their source is official commercial products.
Namely, Netflix has designed a Monopoly game for the promotion of the 4th season of the series. However, before this Monopoly game was released, probably by mistake, when it was put on sale, the information on the cards in the game and containing serious spoilers about the new season fell on the internet.
The Duffer brothers, the creator of the series, were seriously devastated when they saw these spoilers, especially those discussed on Reddit forums. Netflix has not consulted them about this game anyway.
One of those who shared images of the cards on Reddit said that he “bought this game from a well-known store that sells nationwide.” In other words, there is no such thing as the game being leaked beforehand. Online stores still sell old Stranger Things Monopoly games, and it’s a mystery how many people bought the game about Season 4.
If you don’t want your taste to be undermined, be extra careful when browsing the internet, especially the relevant Reddit rooms.
