I don’t think we’ve seen a movie as intensely as Dune in recent years. Since the film’s release, the popularity of books, plays and even everything related to the Dune complex has skyrocketed. That’s why Dune: Spice Wars has been eagerly awaited since it was announced.
Dune: Spice Wars, which entered the world of Steam with an early access system, has already got off to a fast start. According to SteamDB, the game reached 8,396 simultaneous players at its peak in the last 24 hours, making it one of the 100 most played games on the platform. At the time of writing the lines, there are nearly 4,000 simultaneous players in the game.
Dune: Spice Wars, which has received some very positive reviews despite being in early access, has a price tag of $139 on Steam. Let’s note that the Shiro Games team, which develops the real-time strategy game, has done a great job with Northgard before.
The game, which still has minor problems, seems to reflect the Dune realm quite well in general. Let’s see if the game can maintain its popularity until it gets version 1.0.
