Capcom confirmed Street Fighter 6 closed beta dates at the Tokyo Games Show, and shared a gameplay trailer showing what players will face in the beta. The official announcement of the dates has increased the excitement in the fans of the series one more time.
Preparations for the Street Fighter 6 closed beta are complete
For Street Fighter 6, a presentation was made today showing the dates of the upcoming closed beta test and what players will encounter during the test. The trailer released for Street Fighter’s closed beta was featured as part of Capcom’s Tokyo Games Show 2022 presentation. It was also announced that the developer is intensely focused on the sequel. In addition to the main characters of the series, such as Ken, Blanka and E.Honda, four new characters were introduced.
Capcom, in its Street Fighter 6 presentation, confirmed that the first beta test of the game will take place next month. The closed beta dates are set to be October 7 – October 10. Players will be able to sign up for quizzes on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. The closed beta will allow players to test Street Fighter 6’s feature-intensive character creation, and testers will be able to create their own avatars for use in the Battle Hub. However, Capcom will only allow players to create one character for closed beta testing.

Capcom’s official website will introduce various game modes for the Street Fighter 6 closed beta, which will be available to players over three days. During the closed beta, players will be able to play both casual and ranked matches.
Street Fighter 6 is scheduled to be released for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2023.
