New details continue to emerge for 6, the latest game in the Street Fighter series, which debuted 35 years ago by Capcom and has since sold more than 47 million copies. Street Fighter 6 will support online matches and cross-play between platforms. Capcom also stated that physical versions will be available to players.
Powered by Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Street Fighter 6 incorporates three different game modes, including Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. The game features new game systems and improved visuals.
Street Fighter 6 combines the basic modes of previous games (Arcade Mode, online matches, Training Mode, local battles, and more) with the Fighting Ground experience. It features iconic Warriors like Ryu and Chun-Li.
Street Fighter 6 will debut for PC on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Steam in 2023.
