There’s no new Sly Cooper or InFamous on the horizon
Here we know that Sucker Punch is working on a new game after Ghost of Tsushima. It is also among the news that this game, which has open world dynamics, will have some online features. Of course, although the name is not mentioned, there is a high probability that this game is Ghost of Tsushima 2. If we leave this project aside, there were reports that the company could return to its old games for a long time. However, with the official statement, it was announced that they did not have such plans for now.
So Sucker Punch Productions isn’t going to take a step toward Sly Cooper and the InFamous series anytime soon. The explanation is as follows;
“As our games continue to grow in scale and complexity, they require the full attention of our studio. As we focus on our current project, we have no plans to revisit inFAMOUS or Sly Cooper at this time, and no other studio is currently working on projects related to these brands. These characters are very special and very precious to our hearts, so while we never say we’ll never reopen these doors, there are no inFAMOUS or Sly Cooper games in development at the moment.”
