Rocksteady’s play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which will pit Suicide Squad against Justice League, has been postponed until 2023, according to a Bloomberg article.
Information from sources close to the development process indicates that the game has been postponed, but this has not yet been announced. Rocksteady’s new play is an open-world game set in Metropolis, the city where Superman lives. It’s fair to say that it’s one of the most highly anticipated superhero games of the year with the Gotham Knights.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is also an important game for fans of the Arkham series, as it follows the story of Arkham Knight from 2015.
Warner Bros had postponed the Gotham Knights, normally scheduled for release in 2021, until 2022. There’s a chance that’s why Suicide Squad has been postponed, because they don’t want to release the first superhero game anytime soon.
