Konami Digital Entertainment, B.V. announced today that SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE will arrive on Steam for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 27. The game is free to play and can be downloaded digitally and will also be compatible with PlayStation 5. SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE was previously published for Stadia.
When the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions of SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE will arrive will be announced at a later date.
Super BOMBERMAN R ONLINE has a new season system among the innovations coming to the game. Among the platforms included in the season system is Google Stadia. Each season in the game lasts three months, bringing with it brand new items, cosmetics and a new Bomber hero. Season 1 hero Old Snake Bomber is an old friend of Metal Gear Solid. You can get it by collecting in-game “Bomber Coins”.
Items and cosmetics from a given season will only be available during that season.
SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE has a two-stage “Battle Pass” system called Silver Pass and Gold Pass. Silver Pass is open to all players and allows players to make a variety of gains as they play Battle 64 mode, such as new cosmetics, accessories, and poses. Considering that the Silver Pass is 100 levels in total, it is possible to say that players are waiting for pleasant gifts free of charge with very rich game content every season.
The optional Gold Pass has more than 100 levels and features very special items and cosmetics that do not affect the game one-on-one.
