Supermassive Games is also working on a different game that is outside the Dark Pictures anthology. Supermassive’s trademark application is “The Quarry”, and the application states that it is for game software, entertainment services and computer program services (standard application for video games).
We know this isn’t one of the Dark Pictures games, because Supermassive recently applied for the names and logos of all the remaining games in the series. The remaining Dark Pictures titles are as follows:
- The Dark Pictures: Directive 8020
- The Dark Pictures: The Craven Man
- The Dark Pictures: Intercession
- The Dark Pictures: Winterfold
- The Dark Pictures Presents: O Death
Various sources confirmed the news and said the play The Quarry would be released by 2K, VGC reported. The game is scheduled to be released later this year, so it shouldn’t be long before it’s announced.
The application (name and logo) found by VGC readers @the_marmolade is available on the European Union Intellectual Property Office page.
Last week, it was claimed that Supermassive was working on Until Dawn Remake . If that claim is true, then supermassive works like a bee.
