AccountNGT, one of the Twitter accounts known for its successful leaks from the gaming world, claimed to be developing its Supermassive Games; in Until Dawn remake.
Until Dawn, released by Supermassive Games in 2015, was one of playStation 4’s most successful games, and it managed to get full marks from the actors for the way it told the story, the decisions made directly affected the story, and the cinematic aspect.
Supermassive Games began developing similar genres of The Dark Pictures Anthology games after the success of Until Dawn. However, AccountNGT says the studio is developing the Until Dawn remake for the current generation of consoles, according to several different sources.
The highlight here is the sentence “consoles; is used. Supermassive Games is not a Sony studio, but until Dawn is the rights to the name Sony; That’s why the game only came out on PS4. If this remake were to be released exclusively for the PS5, it wouldn’t be called consoles, but how it comes out on Xbox Series, a game with sony rights, is a mystery to us if we see a gesture from Sony there, for now.
Sony has started moving first-party PlayStation games to PC; Maybe Until Dawn is one of the next games, and while we’re at it, they might have said let’s at least remake it and take it to other platforms.
Supermassive Games recently registered the logos and names of their new games, which will be released in The Dark Pictures Anthology series.
