Crysis, developed by Crytek and distributed by Electronic Arts, debuted in 2007 and was widely acclaimed. The brand, which came out in 2013 and has been in a long silence since crysis 3, the last game in the series, gained a little activity in 2020. The game, which gained mobility as Crysis Remastered, was on the players’ radar earlier this year with the news of Crysis 4. Crytek, who has been discreet ever since, has been back on the agenda, announcing the joining of a new director among crysis 4 producers.
Crysis 4 producers sign with IO Interactive
Mattias Engström, the director of Hitman 3, was recently signed by IO Interactive to direct Crysis 4, according to an announcement on his official Twitter account. Crytek said that he started working on the game immediately, and also opened a door for those who wanted to be part of the team.
Given the success of Hitman 3, My Instrument seems like a good choice for Crysis 4. Crysis 4 will be Mattias Engström’s second directorial job. Even though he wasn’t a director before that, he’s experienced people who’ve worked in solid brands. That raises expectations for Crysis 4.
