Turkish electronic sports team Surreal Esports announced the disbandment of the VALORANT team. A statement on social media said that the team players are open to future team evaluations and that a new squad will soon return to the VALORANT stage.

“Following our EMEA Promotion matches, our team IGL Soner (@jeyj7yvll) informed our team management that it would like to evaluate future team offers. Since another player, Enes (@riens), has different plans for his personal life and is so short of the start of VLR: Union, we thought that we would have difficulty in carrying out +2 transfers that could accompany our 3 players who wanted to continue, and therefore we could make it difficult for our players to come. As a result of a long review, we have agreed that our players can evaluate future team offers so that they can continue their individual development in a healthy way and find a new home where they can reach much higher places in their careers. We would like to sincerely thank each and every one of our players for successfully raising Surreal’s name and the flag of our country to this level. We hope that in the near future, they will continue their careers in their new team, where they can feel belonging and make us proud with many more achievements. We would like to thank all our fans and supporters for this wonderful journey.
