Paradox Interactive surprised last night when it launched the Below and Beyond supplement pack for Surviving Mars and announced that it would be distributing its main game for free for 24 hours on Steam:
Surviving Mars, as the name suggests, is one of the strategy games we colonized on Mars. In general, it is possible to say that it has a reasonable average in the reviews. In the player part, paradox clearly doesn’t have as big a fan base as any of its other games. Presumably Paradox decided to take this into account and offer the main game for free on the day it released the additional package, thus aiming to expand its player base. It was previously available for free on the Epic Games Store.
There are only a few hours to add Surviving Mars to your Steam library for free, and as of 8 p.m. tonight, the campaign is over. If you think you can give it a shot, it’s worth keeping your hands on the 🙂
