Swords of Legends Online 2022 is changing its roadmap. The game is released in new regions, receives new content, and becomes Free to Play. New dungeons, PvP modes, new playable classes and new territories are coming in as extra content.
KARLSRUHE (January 31, 2022) – Gameforge and developer Wangyuan Shengtang & Aurogon, the leading western world host of beloved MMOs such as AION, NosTale, OGame, Metin2 and TERA, today announced what major innovations await the breathtaking MMORPG Swords of Legends Online in the coming months.
Soon fans in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be able to enter the epic world of Shenzhou. The next 2.0 update will introduce new classes, new regions, raids, PvP modes, 2 more chapters of the story told, and more. Players will also soon be able to compete for free because Gameforge swords of legends online is converting to Free to Play.
Swords of Legends Becomes Free to Play Online
Gameforge 2.0 will convert Swords of Legends Online to Free to Play at the end of February.
“The return of our community always plays a big role for us in making important decisions. This is what happened in the faster release of these content, as it has been with the improvement of localization and other issues,” said Gameforge Deputy Product Manager Noemi Feller.
“The community has complained in recent months that there are very few players on the servers. So we took action. We carefully weighed the pros and cons, talked to Wangyuan Shengtang &aurogon and finally decided to turn SOLO into Free to Play and thus present the content currently available to a much larger audience of players. We also have many exciting updates for 2022.”
With the release of update 2.0, all our players will be able to experience this legendary adventure without limits. All in-game purchases are visual, the same goes for Battlepass. There will be no “pay to win” elements in the game. Players who have purchased the game will get plenty of special visuals. Swords of Legends Online soon launches in Russia and cis
Gameforge swords of legends online has broadcast rights for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Translations to Russian have begun, but it will take a few more months for the texts to be added to the game. Gameforge will use SOLO in these regions to avoid waiting for players.

Coming soon: First expansion, update 2.0: The Firestone Legacy
The long-awaited 2.0 update: The Firestone Legacy, the first expansion of Swords of Legends Online, will be released this February and will be completely free! Lots of new content, new character classes, new territories, dungeons, raids, PvP modes and more invite you to fly, develop your own skills and have great adventures.
What’s new in update 2.0: The Firestone Legacy:
New class – Fox Wizard: 2.0 development: With The Firestone Legacy, the mysterious Fox Wizard enters the game and uses the power of flowers and thorns to damage his opponents and heal his allies. This class is only available for the new “girl” body type.
New class – Warrior: These heroes are the true heroes of the battlefield. They know more than one fighting style and do great damage. Warriors are divided into two subgroups: male characters are “Crystal Warriors” and female characters are “Spirit Warriors”. Different paths open up in front of the two subclasses and can be improved for both close combat DPS and tank.
Extra character slots: With extra slots, players can now play all character classes and see the action.
Upgraded maximum level: Raised to maximal level 37 to always develop your own combat skills. The character between levels 1 and 36 is “student” and “wise” from level 37. Thanks to the new maximum level, he can continue to develop and strengthen his skills.
The story continues: The recently released update 1.1: Episode 10 with The Forbidden Court will be followed by Episodes 11 and 12 with Update 2.0: The Firestone Legacy. New regions: The world of Shenzhou is growing and five regions are expanding: Paradise of Pouring Flowers (new starting point for The Fox Wizard and Warrior), Changhe Mountain (the region where new classes can level up), Changfu Garden, Langquan Bridge Clouded and Taihua Mountain’s Sword Peak.
PvE and PvP: Five epic new dungeons for 5-10 players and two new raids for 10-20 players are entering Swords of Legends Online. PvP players will also find a new 3-on-3 map called The Stars Cliff and a 10-on-10 map called the Snow-Covered GoBoard.
