Microids has postponed the PC version of Syberia: The World Before from its previously scheduled December 10 release date to the first quarter of 2022. The game will be available to players via Steam, epic games store and GOG. Console versions are also scheduled for release in 2022.
As for the postponement, the team said:
We’d like to share some important news about the release date of Syberia: The World Before.
Initially, the game was scheduled for PC on December 10, 2021. However, we have decided to postpone it until the first quarter of 2022. We’ll be bringing you more information about the exact release date soon.
Our goal is to provide an immersive adventure experience by sticking to the Benoit Sokal universe. Right now, we need a little more time to complete the development in the best possible way.
We are already very excited to share Kate Walker’s new adventures with you. We believe the players are also excited about the next part of the game. Syberia: The World Before will be one of the highlights of the Syberia series.
