The remake version of System Shock seemed to be released by its developer Nightdive Studios until a few days ago, but the color of the work changed with a statement from Prime Matter. Koch Media is also the publisher of games such as Prime Matter, Payday 3, Crossfire Legion, Dolmen, and the new Painkiller, and will now release Nightdive Studios.
Prime Matter has announced that they will release System Shock Remake in 2022 as part of their collaboration with Nightdive.
The price of the game is currently $67 on Steam, and it’s not yet clear if this publisher change will be reflected in the price increase, but if it’s a game that’s on your watchlist, at least you should buy it now. You’ll be able to return it at any time until the game comes out anyway.
