Last month, Take-Two removed numerous GTA modes, including GTA Underground and Kadakash’s GTA San Andreas AI-HD Mode. During the latest investor call, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick commented on the removal.
Zelnick said that although Take-Two is flexible in this regard, it will remove all modes that threaten its economy or exhibit bad behavior.
Zelnick said: “We are quite stretched about the mode, but if the economy is under threat or there is bad behavior, we will take it off the air.”
On this explanation, fans reacted to how the HD Texture Pack would threaten the economy of the game and said they found it unreasonable. It seems take two will instantly remove any mods it doesn’t want in the next stage.
