Tales of Arise would normally be released in 2020, but you know what happened last year, a lot of games have been postponed and continue to be postponed. But at least we now have a clear release date for Tales of Arise: September 9th – 10th.
The game will be released on September 9 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series and September 10 for PC.
Bandai Namco also released a 7-minute gameplay video from the game.
Tales of Arise uses Unreal Engine 4, and the game’s animation system is said to be of very high quality. Tales of Arise also seems to bring to life the dynamic action and role-playing elements you’d expect to see in the Tales series. Looking at the video, there is a more increase in the level of realism than in previous games, especially when the environments are much more detailed.
The game’s producer, Yusuke Tomizawa, said they needed innovation to introduce young players to the Tales series, so unreal engine 4 was switched.
