The only part of the original Mass Effect 3 that got criticism wasn’t the end, but there was the Tali incident, if you remember. Throughout the series, Tali; We hadn’t seen Zorah’s face, she was a Quarian, and she had to wear a high-tech enviro-suite because of her weak immune systems, or they could be at risk of disease or serious infection if they were injured.
Tali; Zorah was in that costume all the time, and frankly, I don’t think there’s a single actor who doesn’t worry about his face. If Shepard went on to romance with Tali, mass effect 2 would have a sex scene between them. In this scene, Tali says she takes antibiotics and herbal additives that strengthen her immune system, and unmasks her face to Shepard. Guess who couldn’t see his face? Of course it’s us!
Fortunately, this changed at the end of Mass Effect 3. There was a photo of Shepard in his room, a photo of Tali. But it turned out that Bioware was lazing around and finding a stock image from Getty Images. It’s a disgrace, so 🙂
Mass Effect Legendary Edition, on the other hand, changed this failed Photoshop;
Tali still has humanoid facial features, but the Quarians aren’t a very distant alien race to us. I think it’s much better this way, I don’t know what you thought.
