Digital advertising firm Tappx has acquired mobile developer From The Bench.
The acquisition is part of Tappx’s diversification strategy and entry into the mobile gaming market.
Terms of purchase were not disclosed.
Spanish developer From The Bench is mainly known for its sports games with the Fantasy Manager series. It has partnerships with major football clubs in Europe, including FC Barcelona and Juventus, and with sports leagues including the NBA, NFL and MLB.
Daniel Reina, CEO of Tappx, said the acquisition will help Tappx “discover the profitability of new areas, such as in-app purchases or assets based on NFTs.”
