Techland has announced that it has developed an AAA open-world action role-playing game with a fantasy world with former CD Projekt RED employees.
Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka said of the new game in a press release: “We are very pleased with what we have achieved so far with the Dying Light series. With Dying Light 2 Stay Human, we can say that our journey has just begun. We plan to support this game for at least five years.
Apart from Dying Light 2, we have another goal. We want to present you a very different IP than what we have been doing for the last few years. We want to create a completely new generation experience. Over the years, we have gained many skills and experience as a team. Based on this foundation, we want to offer players a new fantasy environment set in the open world. While we can’t share any more details about this project right now, we’re all really investing heavily in it. We look forward to showing you that when the time comes.”
Among the names working on the game are the following:
– Karolina Stachyra: He previously worked as a story director on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.
– Arkadiusz Borowik: Story leader who previously worked on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.
