Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. announced the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection as of today. In collaboration with Nickelodeon, thirteen radical games from KONAMI’s retro 8-bit, 16-bit and arcade TMNT archives and their Japanese versions* bring the adventures of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo to consoles and desktops.

The Cowabunga Collection goes beyond thrilling battles against Shredder’s incompetent men, revealing never-before-seen development documents of games, concept visuals and exclusive sketches from the dusty pages of KONAMI history.
As part of this collection, you can explore Turtle’s Lair, a virtual museum that houses everything related to TMNT, or listen to retro game tunes and let nostalgia take you back in time. With hitherto unrevealed concept sketches, you can take a look at the creative process of how games are brought to life. You also have the opportunity to revisit the original game guides, which have been researched and put together with great care.
Adapted to the present day, this special collection also includes quality of life upgrades such as the ability for players to save and rewind the game wherever they wish. The watch-and-play mechanic is an option to help players pass challenging levels. This gives players a preview of the levels before taking control. In order to revive familiar game levels and further enhance the game experience, fun battle modes are among those waiting for you in the collection.
There are also strategy guides available to help players take it to the next level. Maps and locations of hidden power-ups are now at your fingertips. Not being able to perform the underwater mission in the NES version of TMNT will soon be history!
This collection of timeless classics brings you the joy of chasing the Shredder, fighting against Foot, and navigating Bebop and Rocksteady while once again shedding light on why our heroes’ digital adventures, developed by KONAMI, set the standard in beat ’em up, action games.
