Tekken 8 announced at State of Play
In early August, Bandai Namco actually announced the arrival of this game. In a new video released for the Tekken 7 Grand Final, they showed the actors a short scene featuring Kazuya saying “Get ready!” The much-anticipated announcement during The Game Awards came earlier. Tekken 8 was announced during the State of Play event.
In addition, the gameplay images in the released trailer also catch our eye. Of course, let’s not forget that the game is still under development and that the images in question may change. As in the previous trailer, Kazuya is coolly appearing in Tekken 8 this time officially. Players generally found Jin and Kazuya’s fight exciting, and it’s hard not to agree with the praise for the graphics.
Underlining that the images in the video are recorded as 60 FPS on the PS5 in real time instead of pre-rendered frames, the game’s director Katsuhiro Harada also says that the story mode will be stunning. The images also come from this story mode. In other words, we can say that a scenario mode has come in which Jin and Kazuya will face off and fight.
As you will appreciate for the game, there is no release date yet. The development team says they put a lot of effort and need time to make it worth what we expected. In addition, although announced at the PlayStation event, Tekken 8 will not be a PS5 exclusive game, and will be released on Xbox and PC platforms.
