We left The Game Awards 2021 ceremony behind us, watched millions (or rather dozens) of new trailers, announced new games. You can already watch all of this from the link below. Among the announcements made, we should mention separately the games in which we learned more than a trailer, one of which is Telltale’s comeback game: The Expanse.
The Expanse is one of the best space sci-fi series of recent years, airing on Amazon Prime. The Expanse universe, whose books are just as beautiful, really offered a material that was perfectly suitable for games, so I’m not surprised that Telltale chose it as a comeback game. I hope they make a play that they’ll give them credit for and they won’t upset us Expanse fans.
For now, the trailer only see Camina Drummer walking through the abandoned space station The Artemis. As soon as he put his hands behind his back, he thought, “aha Camina,” and the show’s followers 🙂
“We wanted to choose a character and story that hadn’t been told before – a story that the actors could influence, but that was faithful to the books and the series. Our collaboration with Telltale has allowed us to discuss different ideas and take advantage of the different perspectives that both companies bring to the adventure genre to tell the best possible story,” said Jeff Litchford, COO of Deck Nine.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series is being developed in collaboration with Deck Nine Games, which developed Life is Strange: True Colors with Telltale, and has no release date yet.
