Sumo Group was acquired by Tencent for $1.27 billion. British gaming company Sumo Group became the latest gaming company to be acquired by Tencent on Monday.
Last year, a total of 31 games were invested or purchased by Tencent. That outpaced the number of other companies in the industry and was three times higher than tencent’s mergers and acquisitions the previous year.
