The addition of Death Stranding to Gamepass was not in Sony’s hands.

It would not be wrong to say that the addition of Death -Stranding to Gamepass surprised Sony as well as the players. Following the recent announcement of the Death Stranding Gamepass , there was an audience that was blown away by happiness, but also very disappointed. A mass of gamers saw the addition of the game to Gamepass as a betrayal by Sony and Kojima.

The addition of Death Stranding to Gamepass has angered some players

It is not known whether the players have decided to go crazy now for -Death Stranding, which was announced as “exclusive to Playstation” and came to PC a few months after its release. However, Sony has stated that the issue is beyond its control, and that the decision rights in this regard belong to Kojima Productions and 505 Games, which adapted the game to the PC.

A Sony official made the following statement on the subject:
“Decisions regarding Death Stranding’s PC platform are in the hands of Kojima Productions and 505 Gaming, Sony has nothing to do with this Gamepass decision.”
It’s interesting that gaming giant Sony has signed a contract where it can’t control which platforms Death Stranding will appear on. The -Gamepass version of Death Strading will only include the main game. In other words, the special “Director’s Cut” version released a while after the actual game will not come to Gamepass.
