We’ve seen Batman, one of the most iconic faces in the comic book complex, on screen in different ways over and over again. With its dark atmosphere and wild structure by its own nature, batman should not be equated with ordinary zinc carbon superhero adaptations. Now on the horizon is The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves. The age limit and reason for the new film have also been explained. The Batman, which will be released as PG-13, is also described as “wild and disturbing content”.
In fact, comic book adaptations recently had a nice 18+ sticker, but we didn’t expect to see a locomotive character like Batman 18+. However, I have no doubt that the 13+ limits will be pushed, and the atmosphere of the trailers we have seen so far has signaled this. All Batman films, starting with Tim Burton’s Batman film released in 1989 and ending with The Dark Knight Rises, which was last released in 2012, were also released as PG-13. So Matt Reeves is following in the footsteps of his predecessors.

Considering what Logan accomplished as 18+, I still have hopes that one day I’ll see a big superhero movie again, R-Rated. But this new film, The Batman, didn’t happen either. Let’s see if Wolverine, who’s making a comeback to the MCU, can get his anger out again with an 18+ movie. Or maybe in the possible sequels to The Batman, this age limit could be bent with the Joker. The exciting countdown to The Batman, which will be released on March 4, continues.
