We all know that The Callisto Protocol is one of the successful games of the survival horror game genre, directed by Glen Schofield, one of the creators of Dead Space. Some players even believe that while a remake version of The Callisto Protocol is on the way, these games could form the basis for the future of horror games. What players have seen so far from The Callisto Protocol is that the game is promising, based on the horror theme created by the makers of Dead Space for a more intense and violent experience.
New creatures appear in Callisto Protocol new gameplay trailer
In each gameplay trailer for The Callisto Protocol, they saw what the team at Striking Distance Studios was doing to make it a more terrifying experience than Dead Space. The creatures, which have a somewhat similar body structure to the Necromorphs in Dead Space, are featured in the video. In The Callisto Protocol, bones, muscle tendons, and more are seen sprouting from wandering monsters. Some of these creatures were also featured in the new trailer of The Callisto Protocol, which was recently released.
The footage comes from an interview with Glen Schofield, where the director talked about the origins of The Callisto Protocol and how the game became what it is today. Between footage of Schofield’s speech, fans saw several clips they’d never seen before and got information on what environments the new game will take place in. The first new scene in the game shows the players that the player is suddenly attacked by a creature and has to fight for his life. The creature starts punching the player’s helmet. This confirms that the creature is not afraid to treat the hero of the game cruelly.
Part of Callisto Protocol’s melee mechanics was shown in another clip. In this clip, a creature was attacking the actor all of a sudden. Melee combat is the main focus of the Callisto Protocol, which sets it apart from other games in its genre. For The Callisto Protocol, Schofield explained their goal as “making the best game we can.”
