NIS America has previously announced that It will release The Cruel King and the Great Hero, previously announced as The Wicked King and the Noble Hero on Gematsu, in the west for PlayStation 4 and Switch in early 2022. There are two versions of the game: Storybook Edition and Treasure Trove Bundle.
About the game
A young girl named Yuu will embark on an adventure to become a great hero. Next to him will be a terrifying monster known as the Dragon King, who guides and protects him. However, the dragon king’s ugly past will be revealed and the life that has been driven in peace until now will be threatened. You will explore fascinating environments and overcome monsters and puzzles.
The Cruel King and the Great Hero debuted in Japan on June 24 for PlayStation 4 and Switch.
