‘Modern Armor’, the ultimate in the evolution of World of Tanks, is also taking to the stage on Xbox and Playstation. Featuring cross-gameplay on PlayStation4 and 5 and Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, this high-end combat vehicle hunt is now at the hands of millions of console players from all over the world.
Modern battles descend on the squares for the first time in the game’s history, bringing a whole new, high-tempo gameplay to the frontline. Players will also begin exploring a growing list of new maps and consumables, period-based matchmakers, 3D commanders, and, of course, advanced tanks from the late 20th century.
In the first chapter that will come with the modern Armor saga, the First Blow, two mighty alliances will come to the fore: the Western Alliance and the Eastern Alliance. These groups will consist of a total of 18 tannings, all of which will be open to investigation by players from the very beginning.
The Western Alliance descends on the squares with these tanks bridged with true American might: M46A1 Patton, M47 Patton, M48A5PI Patton, M60’61 Patton, M60A1 Patton, M60A3 Patton, M1 Abrams, M1A1 Abrams and M1A2 Abrams.
The Eastern Alliance enters the war with this strong Soviet force: T-72BM, T-44A, T-54 obr. 1949, Object 165, T-62, T-72A, T-72AV, T-72B, T-72BM and T-72BU.
Thanks to the periods brought by modern Armor, players will discover 50 years of the Cold War. Starting in the 1950s and beyond, these periods are divided into three different periods of history: Postwar, Tension and Calming. Cold War Mode will also maintain balance in battles with its period-based matching system.
All four new maps bring to your feet a wide range of locations from Southeast Asia; Germany; and Norway; and the Middle East. Players will have the chance to fight in terrain almost twice the size of existing World War II maps, allowing for brand new combat strategies thanks to this extra space.
