Sea of Thieves’ new adventure will leave the fate of the island of Golden Sands in the hands of players. The story of Golden Sands, which was first covered with a green mist in February, is finally completed. The new adventure, which will start with the month of June, will be the last part of the story that starts with the new year.
Developer Rare wants the final version of the island to be determined by the players. Players in the wild seas of Sea of Thieves will be able to help rebuild Golden Sands or keep it intact. To help, pirates have to collect certain supplies and take them to Golden Sands.
If you want the island to remain as it is, you’ll need to join the Reaper;s Bones team. These pirates will try to prevent Golden Sands from collecting the necessary materials. Players who want to be part of the story will be able to participate in the conflicts that will start as of May 26. The result will be known on June 9.
