Geoff Keighley has announced that the most anticipated awards ceremony of the year will be held at The Game Awards 2021; 9 December. This year’s face-to-face event will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will again be broadcast live, reaching millions of viewers.
Last year, due to Covid-19, the ceremony was not attended by a live audience, and the award ceremony was held and broadcast entirely from the studio.
