The 4 Winds Entertainment (T4W) has announced a new strategic partnership with publisher and developer Upwake.me to bring the new PvPvE treasure hunting and shooter game HAWKED to the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey market.
You can register for the Closed Alpha Test for PC, which starts on November 22, on Steam. Starting November 24, players will have the opportunity to experience the Hunt mode for the first time, which can be played both alone and in teams of three. This new game will also come to other platforms in the future, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One.
As the T4W team, we tackle both the unexplored and rapidly growing parts of the video games world with our passion and accumulated experience. Uğur Ülger, Marketing Manager at The 4 Winds Entertainment, continues: “In all the decisions we make, we include our experience and awareness of local cultures and communities in the equation. We are excited to announce our new game in partnership with Upwake.me. With the inclusion of content such as in-game representation, localized text, and voiceovers, HAWKED continues our goal of enabling Arab and Turkish players to experience games on the same scale as global players.
HAWKED is an online shooter where teams or individual players compete to collect treasure from a deserted island. Players must explore this mysterious island, fight against each other, and battle the greedy lizard-like Arakists to snatch treasures and enigmatic artifacts. It’s not just monsters that set their eyes on treasures. You also have to be careful with other players. Players must also dodge puzzles and traps, overcome dangerous environments and overcome various challenges.
At the heart of the Closed Alpha version will be the Hunting game mode. In this mode, players will scour the island to find artifacts. Of course, Artifacts provide not only points, but also in-game advantages, such as the fact that if a player can evacuate the artifact from the island, they can use it in their future games.
There is more than one way to get the artifacts in the game. They can be looted from defeated players, as well as from PvE encounters such as the Symbol encounter. During these matches, a player can collect four symbols and then unlock the cellar that houses many artifacts. The player with the most Artifacts wins, but the developers have worked hard to make sure that even releasing at least one artifact is rewarded in a way that is not unbelievable so that no player feels like they’re wasting their time in the game.
In the world of HAWKED, a guild of adventurers named GRAIL discovers a place like no other: in exile, a mysterious island home to powerful artifacts from a lost civilization. However, GRAIL’sattempt to obtain these artifacts fails due to the attacks of monsters on the island. That’s where the Bandits come in; looting enthusiast, treasure hunter mercenaries. Controlling bandits, players will gain access to a huge collection of weapons and gear to fight terrifying monsters, defeat enemies with their wits, and give other players a taste of weapon skills as they roam the island. In an ever-changing world filled with ancient ruins, jungles that have no axes, deadly dangers, players will run, jump, use their skateboards, hang on ropes and blow up!
Players will try to solve various puzzles and escape traps while stealing treasures, missing stolen artifacts and escaping from the island. With the loot obtained, equipment and skills can be improved. Players will be able to design their Bandits to their heart’s content thanks to customizable equipment and abilities. You’ll be able to equip new weapons and equipment, such as katana and borda hooks, to master areas such as stealth, defense, or lightning-fast looting.
The HAWKED Closed Alpha Test will be available to play on Steam from November 24 to November 28. Players who participate in the alpha will be able to test the game’s Hunting Mode. More information about the Closed Alpha participation can be found on the official website .
Developers are eager to get your feedback during this key period of the game. The feedback of the test participants is in addition to further developments; It will help us develop our vision while creating a fast-paced, kinetic treasure hunting and shooter game.
