Video games began to rise to the top in terms of adaptation after the comics. Dozens of plays, large and small, lined up to come to life on both the big screen and television screens. The latest addition to the list is Grounded from Xbox games. The animated series of the game, produced by Obsidian Entertainment, has been officially approved.
The story of the series will be written by Brent Friedman, who also worked as a screenwriter in Star Wars: Clone Wars and Star Trek: Enterprise;. Brien Goodrich, who is also the director of Halo, will appear as a director in this new series. The series will be animated by Bardel Entertainment, the studio behind The Dragon Prince, andKinetic Media along with Waterproof Studios/SC Productions will also appear in the animation section.
In the series, which will be set in the same universe as the game, we will witness the adventures of a group of adolescents who have shrunk in size before starting high school. The priority of our team, which will fight against deadly enemies and natural disasters that seem small and harmless under normal conditions, will be survival.
For the first time, Deadline reported that the series will follow the same path as Netflix;s Arcane;i and Paramount+;s Halo;su. The series version of the game, which is inspired by Honey I Shrunk The Kids and A Bug;s Life;d, will probably have its share of these two productions. Especially the breezes of A Bug;s Life can add a different flavor to the animation. The Grounded series does not yet have an official release date.
