NVIDIA has announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and SteelRising will feature ray tracing effects on the PC platform. In addition, both of these games will support Deep Learning Super Sampling technology (also known as DLSS).
According to NVIDIA, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will use Ray Tracing technology to deliver more realistic reflection and more realistic shading in-game. SteelRising, on the other hand, will only have reflections with Ray Tracing support.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be a stealth-themed story-driven action adventure game. Players will embark on a perilous journey as Gollum. With Gollum you will be able to climb, jump, overcome dangers and proceed stealthily.
In SteelRising, players will take on the role of Aegis and the game will incorporate action role-playing elements. You are a masterpiece made by Vaucanson, an engineer in the service of the Clockwork King. Players will be able to adapt Aegis to their playstyle and turn it into a deadly machine.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will debut on September 1 for PC on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. In 2022, it will be released for Switch consoles.
Steelrising will debut on September 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG.
