The Epic Games Store will give us a mystery game on Thursday this week. When the Epic Games Store does not announce the game it will give the next week, these mysterious packs come out of games with more fame than normal. For example, both Grand Theft Auto V and Civilization VI were among the mysterious games.
Although EGS itself has no clue what this mysterious game will be, Epic;s official social media account in China has ignited the predictions by sharing an interesting image. Here’s the image:
Based on the clues in this picture, it is estimated that the Epic Games Store will give away either Borderlands 3 or No Man;s Sky.
Borderlands 3 tips:
- When the BBDAHAC0E password under the Dead by Daylight pancake is converted to A=1, B=2, C=3., we get the number of 224181305. This is the exact time code for the Borderlands 3 answer to the question “which game should we give next?” that Epic Games asked in April. That message was sent at 04/18/2022 13:05, which is the same password in question.
- Epic Games is feeding the man an NBA 2K21 pancake, but the NBA part has been shut down and 2K has been brought to the forefront. Borderlands 3 is also publisher 2K.
- Underneath the picture is the message “let someone feed this pancake”. In Borderlands 3, there is a weapon called Yellow Pancake.
- Epic Guy seems to have three hands, Borderlands 3’s box was originally going to be three hands, but then it was changed to three fingers.
No Man;s Sky tips:
- Epic Games commented that “no one can guess that.” “No One” or “No Man”
- Again, the message “let someone feed this pancake” is a reference to one of China’s well-known proverbs. It’s a proverb like “You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.” There may be a reference to No Man;s Sky’s conversion of initial failure into success.
- The sentence in the upper right corner means “no matter how much you want, we have it”. So it means “unlimited”. This may indicate an almost infinite number of planets in the game.
Reading both of these, I think the Borderlands 3 signs make more sense, if Epic;s goal with this picture is not to mislead, the mystery game we will see this week will most likely be Borderlands 3. Whether these theories will hold, we will see very soon.
