4Gamer net published an interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki, president of FromSoftware and director of Elden Ring. In this interview, we talked about an unannounced game from 2018. It was stated that the development of the game is in the final stages.
Highlights from the interview:
When we interviewed you in 2018 about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, you mentioned that you had developed two unannounced games. One of the games that wasn’t announced was Elden Ring, and this game made its debut. Is the other game still in development?
Hidetaka Miyazaki: “Yes, development is currently in its final stages.”
– What are your future goals as a director? Once you’ve completed the Elden Ring, is there anything you’d like to do or are interested in doing in the future?
Miyazaki: “As a director, I’m working on my next play. So I don’t want to say too much. I want to work on a fantasy production in the medium and long term. We’ve done that in the past.”
– Finally, Elden Ring made its debut. Will innovations continue to come to the game in the future?
Miyazaki: “We will continue to release new updates for Elden Ring. In addition, as I mentioned before, we are developing new productions with other directors besides the plays I have directed.
