Ubisoft recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of the series at the Ubisoft Forward event and made many interesting announcements. It may sound strange at the event, but we came across 4 new AC games. Three of them came across as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, Jade and Hexe, developed under different code names. Let’s discuss together what we know about these games.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, an RPG set in Japan
First of all, we don’t expect to see games developed with these code names anytime soon. Because, as the company itself has stated, these are forward-looking projects. In the shared roadmap, they shared that Mirage would come out before all of them. However, we can try to get a meaningful whole by kneading the incoming information like dough. First, let’s look at the new game called Assassin’s Creed Codename Red.
We know that it is a production that will take place in Japan and will follow in the footsteps of the next generation of AC games. In the short teaser video released, we saw a character resembling Shinobi holding his cultural weapon in one hand and pulling out his secret knife from the other. The game is made by Odyssey developer Ubisoft Quebec, and its creative director is the same as Odyssey. The production, which will take place in Federal Japan, will probably start to appear in bloody live form in 2024. However, it will take 2025 to fully launch. Frankly, the idea of an AC game set in Japan seems quite intriguing.
At the same time, it is also among the information that this game will be similar to Valhalla. Developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Consoles from the previous generation now seem to have left Ubisoft’s interests.
A mobile AC game in ancient China: Codename JADE
As one of the productions shown in Ubisoft Forward, we came across the new mobile game Assassin’s Creed Codename JADE. The production, which will be the AAA RPG Action-Adventure game that comes to mobile devices in the company’s own words, will take place in Ancient China. With Red and JADE, we see very clearly that the series has turned its course to Asia. At the same time, an Assassin’s Creed game that will be released on mobile platforms sounds interesting. Again, we do not expect much detail to be shared about the game in the near future. Because by looking at the road map, we can say that these games are the games of tomorrow. It will also be released as a free-to-play JADE game.
We can expect a game that will be supported by Genshin-Impact-style detailed character developments and activities, where customizations will be at the forefront. Although they don’t share anything, we have a strong feeling that the game is being developed jointly with Tencent.
Fantastic AC game Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe
Details about Far Cry 2 and Watch Dogs: Legion developer studio Ubisoft Montréal’s new AC game codenamed Hexe are very limited. However, it is obvious that fantastic and especially horror elements in the series will start to appear with this game. We can say that the Assassin’s Creed series, which has been telling historical stories for more than 15 years, enters a completely different genre with this game. Of course, with the information received, it was shared that this game would come up after the game developed with the code name Red. Therefore, it is possible that it will come out in the nearest 2026.
The developer used the following statements while making a statement about the game:
“If we’ve learned anything from Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, it’s that we don’t have to release RPG games every year. These games are very long-term works, if you maintain support after launch, they manage to keep the players’ interest on them for a long time. Hexe, on the other hand, will promise a different experience due to the structure and conditions of the game. When we start showing more, it will become clear what we mean.”
